The neighborhood pest visited the barn last night. Black body, white stripe, you know the type. It missed me and three of the four dogs. Poor Blue guarded our retreat and took a blast to the muzzle.
Thanks for the recipe for getting rid of skunk smell. A few years ago one of my dogs got sprayed. There’s no telling how much tomato juice I used and every other thing — it took forever to get all of that smell out of the house.
Your photographs are beautiful. I’m sorry about the fire. I really like your blog – reminds me of home. I’ll be back to visit.

We had one here last night too… luckily it only got the truck! We couldn’t figure out where the spray had landed till E got to work yesterday, stepped out of the cab, and was still surrounded by that unmistakable aroma. 🙂
